The Knowledge Edge Group now offers qualified staff the opportunity to enroll in our Leadership Certificate Program, endorsed by Sony LSI Design Inc. It is designed to recognize—and reward—the talent and contributions of our Global Team Members, and help outstanding performers develop their full leadership potential.
Most members of the Knowledge Edge Global Team are eligible to participate. We currently offer two levels of certification: Assistant Project Leader (APL) and Project Leader (PL). Both correlate to significant leadership responsibilities in the workplace.
Semi-annual performance reviews are the main criteria for deciding if an individual earns a Leadership Certificate. At Knowledge Edge there are no timetables for advancement; talent and capacity for hard work are the only factors that matter.
2 Levels of Certification
Assistant Project Leader (APL)
- Significant experience on multiple projects.
- Strong communicator, good team player, hardworking, well-organized.
- Knowledgeable about Japanese culture and business practices.
- Strong English, Chinese and Japanese language skills.
Project Leader (PL)
- APL-level experience on multiple projects.
- Strong time-management, team-building and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of planning, organizing, and controlling project flow.
